If an clinic wants to use a Single Aim physician to oversee LCSWs instead of NPs/PAs, how would malpractice coverage work?

The Single Aim MedMal policy is specific to collaborative work between APPs (NPs and PAs) and physicians. A clinic can hire a physician via the Single Aim network to oversee work done by other clinician types, but the clinic in this case must provide MedMal coverage for both the collaborating physician and the clinician.

Does Single Aims professional liability policy cover direct encounters ("consultations") between the collaborating physician and patients of the APP?

Yes, this is covered by the policy.

Does our professional liability policy cover the collaborating physician if they ever need to write a prescription for a patient of their collaborating APP?

Yes, the physician is able to write prescriptions under the malpractice policy.

Does our professional liability policy cover a physician collaborating with a clinician performing TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)?

There is no specific care that is excluded under the policy as long as the standard requirements are met (APP collaboration, brokered on Single Aim, physician background reviewed and approved), then this would be covered like any of the other collaborations set up on Single Aim.
